Infant Program Registration

An Infant Program registration form needs to be completed for all children attending, regardless of their age. There is no registration fee applicable to the Infant Program. Children must attend the session with a parent or caregiver. A place in the 0-3 Infant Program does not automatically secure a place in The Hills Montessori School Preschool Transition, Preschool or Primary School program. The normal application and enrolment procedures apply.  A child’s place in Infant Program rolls over from term to term until parents advise any change. Once offered a place in the Infant Program, a child’s place is secure and term’s fees are charged until otherwise notified.

Transition Program Registration

A Transition Program registration form needs to be completed for children attending the Transition Program. There is no registration fee applicable to the Transition Program. Children can attend the Transition Program the term before they turn 3 years old. Children must attend the session with a parent or caregiver. A place in the Transition Program does not automatically secure a place in The Hills Montessori School Preschool or Primary School program. The normal application and enrolment procedures apply.

Preschool Application & Enrolment

An Application Form and the Application Fee needs to be completed and paid to confirm your interest in joining the school. Children can attend Preschool two mornings a week or three mornings a week and must be 3 years old and toilet trained to attend the Preschool program. Please refer to the Programs sheet which can be downloaded here.

When a place is available, a letter of offer will be sent to the family along with the Enrolment Agreement. An interview between the Principal, parent and student will be arranged. An Enrolment Fee and Bond will be payable at this time.

Additional procedures are followed for Students with Disabilities/Learning Difficulties.

Preschool students are automatically offered a place in the primary school.

Primary School Application & Enrolment

The application and enrolment process as explained above are followed for new families to the school at the Primary level. Additional procedures are followed for Students with Disabilities/Learning Difficulties.

Middle School Application & Enrolment

Primary students are automatically offered a place in the Middle School. The only intake for Middle School is at Year 7. New students are not enrolled after the commencement of the school year.

New students and families will complete the External Student Application Package (parts 2-5 will be forwarded to families who have completed the Middle School Application Form) which includes five components:

  1. Middle School Application Form
  2. Student application submission
  3. Parent/guardian response
  4. Teacher/principal recommendation
  5. Community member recommendation

Middle School application packages can be requested via email and are also provided to prospective families at Middle School Open Days.

Middle School applications are due on the last day of Term 2 the year prior to requested year of commencement.

An interview between the student, parent and Middle School selection panel will be arranged in Term 3. On successful completion of the enrolment process a letter of offer will be sent. School Enrolment procedures will be followed.
